RENCO Natural Calf Rennet for use in cheesemaking. Purified by an ion-exchange process, RENCO Natural Calf Rennet is naturally high in chymosin (>93%), providing a superior yield with flavour and texture benefits. RENCO Natural Calf Rennet can be supplied in both liquid and powder forms of varying strengths and pack sizes.

 | | Rennet PowderStrengths Available: 1100 and 1700 IMCU/g Packs Available: 500g, 10kg and 25kg Rennet Powder is prepared by the precipitation of the enzymes in liquid rennet extract followed by freeze drying. The resulting powder has improved stability with the enzymes retaining full functionality.
Powder may be stored at ambient with little detectable loss in enzyme activity over an extended period.
Renco Natural Rennet Powder is available in pack sizes of 500gm, 10kg and 25kg. Regular strengths are 1100 IMCU/g and 1700 IMCU/g.

It can be used to make the traditional dairy dessert known as” junket”. Many baby boomers will remember it from their childhood days. Further uses include cheesemaking and as a processing aid to produce icecream, some recipes are included on the packet.
Renco Rennet is exceptionally stable however storage under refrigeration is recommended.
Renco Rennet is available in 120mL pack size from selected stores and supermarkets nationwide (New Zealand). Larger quantities can be purchased direct from Renco.
